BSB Fiscal Cliff Update (Guest Signage: Charles Gilbert!)
Thanks to Congress for averting the cliff. Who could have imagined that in just a couple of days unemployment would be so low that Dunkin' Donuts would resort to hiring food products.

Have Job, Will Train: (Guest Signage Thursday, Odd Jobs Edition: Erica!)
K22MC9Q4KX3H
Don't worry about prior experience, qualifications, or skills. As a Keystone Industries Personal Assistant, you will be an excellent organizer, communicator, and multitasker, whether you like it or not. You will provide excellent administrative support. And you will have a friendly attitude.
Basically, you're going to be awesome in a number of ways.
So you know what I thought: Perfect job.
Then I saw the list of requirements. Yikes!
Luckily, only the Bachelor's Degree is "a must." I'm guessing etymological skills are optional.

This End Up

Nothing suggests top dollar like a repurposed sign, but I'm more concerned that they needed positioning instructions.

Neighborhood Watch

So goes the common refrain:
“I’d love to move to Harlem, but
the prices are just too effing high!”
Well, fret no more. Coming to your rescue is the ever-present
drug store-cum-fast food restaurant New Yorkers know and...well...shop at from time to time.
Now before you get too
cynical, keep in mind that prior to this DR, you had to go two blocks to
find another DR. Well, okay, a block and a half, but still - one was an avenue block.
Well, not a real avenue block since it was uptown, but…
Oh, forget it.
Low prices. Less walking.
Be grateful.
Because the one thing that
Harlem lacks is stores located on the corner of a block specializing in low-cost convenience
items.

Buy American
In a stirring show of devotion to the American economy, NYU shut off hot water for almost two weeks rather than use dirty, foreign water made by underpaid and overworked clouds. Hats off to such a respectable establishment. I personally would have preferred replacing all of the hot water with Evian - of Fuji, if we're really desperate - but I appreciate the sentiment.
